Patrick Pearson on Famous Musicians and the Neutral Ground’s Appeal

In this short clip taken from his recent interview with the Loyola Documentary and Oral History Studio, local musician Patrick Pearson speaks on his first run-in with Allen Toussaint, getting to play at Lawrence Cotton’s birthday party, and getting to play at Lawrence Cotton’s birthday party. Pearson is a talented bassist and a generous music teacher. He has been involved in the thriving New Orleans music scene for the last five years, but first came to the Neutral Ground a decade ago.
