Kelcy Mae Wilburn or Kelcy Mae her stage name is a New Orleans artist from Shreveport, Louisiana. Her music has a folk/alt-rock, Americana feel, with deep poetic lyrics and catchy melodies. In this interview we take a look at what got Kelcy Mae into music and her journey along the way to finding her love of performing her own works. She breaks down what inspires her and some of the inspirations behind her latest album Half-Light and how she made it such a beautiful album. Kelcy Mae talks about what she loves about touring and what it really takes to be an artist in today’s industry. Kelcy also talks about her start at the Neutral Ground and what keeps her coming back.
